Senior Design Director

Senior Design Director leading the apparel and footwear team of 20 designers for the Reebok Classics division. Built out seasonal collections, collaborations and quickstrike product for the lifestyle side of the brand. Lead the Surface Design team internally to build out robust horizontal storytelling across the brand including all categories and connecting footwear, apparel, and accessories. Oversaw footwear collaborations and special collections including Reebok × Gigi Hadid, Reebok × Cardi B and more. Led global creative direction and footwear and apparel design for Reebok Classics, the brand’s product offering for both archival and new lifestyle product prior to Reebok’s category reorganization.

Footwear Color Designer II
Nike Sportswear / Nike
June 2007 – July 2012

Lead color designer for Nike Sportswear’s Energy and Special projects group, I proposed and designed key product stories with an emphasis on trend-driven fashion, materials innovation and the identification of timely product collaborations. Products included high-profile collaborations such as the Liberty of London and Commes des Garçons footwear collaborations, and collections such as Air Force 1 30th anniversary pack. Additionally, I was a founding member of Nike’s Trend Council, a select group of designers and creative directors tasked with identifying and synthesizing trends within art, design, music, fashion, politics, communication, and youth culture. I analyzed and distilled findings from global travel and cultural immersion, along with other traditional forms of research, into trends which could impact the brand or influence product creation. This work was presented each season in the form a magazine and immersive physical installations, informing Nike’s creative direction and special projects.
